MAKING CREATIVE CONTENT SINCE 2008
Jonathan Leong started his career crafting horoscope write-ups for the back page of a now defunct movie magazine, proving that there is yet hope for all of us. Eventually, his diverse interests in both ideation, copywriting & visuals - led to winning pitches for work on creative projects for the likes of Nike / Kobe Bryant, MTV, New Balance, IKEA, Tiger Beer and seminal Russian Rock Band MumiyTroll (Му́мий Тро́лль). Since 2008, Jonathan has been behind the scenes of branded content and creative work that has been seen by millions across both traditional and digital mediums. Being a fan of memes, he also runs a local Meme Page in Singapore called The Singaplex, which has been featured in the media more than once, for what he calls “troll products”.
Jonathan is also an avid Advisor to a portfolio of start-ups, often giving advice (+ facilitating intros / raising investor capital via his network) in exchange for equity with a recent exit via OxStreet, a VC-funded early-stage streetwear marketplace, run by dedicated sneaker aficionados which was acquired by Carousell Group in 2021.
